anybody ever get a weird FM regarding something you're not sure you've even posted about?
I just got a weird FM about circumsizing my son. Not sure if I ever posted on here about that. She attached all these links and what not. When I clicked her name she's only been a member since this month with 0 posts. Isn't that odd???

I got the same thing! I did post about it but soooo long ago. I thought it was weird since my boys are now 7.5 and almost 5.

I hope it is ok to private messaging you, I just like to avoid posting on controversial subjects. Just read your post and wanted to say that I agree you made a wise choice circumcising your son, it is cleaner and healthier for boys. I am sorry that your son didn't get a full circumcision. I was actually there when he was done and he didn't even feel it.
I work in childcare, so I know if boys aren't done at birth, they aren't good at keeping themselves clean and its pretty common for them to need to be circumcised later in life. I didn't want to risk putting my son through that. Plus, I have yet to meet a single man that wasn't happy to be circumcised, but a lot of uncircumcised guys seem to wish they had been snipped.

Yeah, I got it twice...with fifty million links attached. Didn't open anything...obviously I already made my decision.
And I thought I wouldn't have to be worried about a woman being interested in my son's penis for at LEAST fifteen years!

Sorry to get everyone upset. Its not a virus. You can google any of those links before opening them, they are all legit. I should have just posted, but lots of boards this is one topic that just gets really abusive, so I thought FM's was safer and wanted to pass on some good info to moms who had posted on it, without starting WW3.
Obviously I screwed up. Sorry.

You sent FMs to women who have already circumcised their sons, some of whom didn't reply on that one thread, telling them they made the "right" choice. It was a VERY strange FM to both send a receive. I would love to know what you were thinking

When I was pregnant with DD#1 and I didn't know what I was having yet - I received this very long FM from someone I didn't know with a ton of links about why I shouldn't circ. my child if I have a boy. I think at the time I just said thank you but I don't know what I'm having and to please not FM me again - and again I got another FM with a ton of links. Some were quite graphic.

I never got the FM and I really felt left out.
Last I checked, princesses don't have penises. But I can FM you and tell you about the horrors of piercing her ears and painting her nails if you want.

I think she is passionate about her views, and didnt want to cause problems based on her views.
Maybe its someone who googles circ all the time and is on a mission to make the world fre-skin free.
All I'm saying is maybe she was JUST trying to get out the message of why you should circ. I dont see harm.
It was just weird how it was gone about.
Just a little off the top for me.

Sorry, I thought it was weird b/c this person had to search out people who posted about circs. (I didn't respond to the other circ thread and got it, which is just weird to me) I thought it was a virus at frst too.
