recommend your thermometer for a toddler
I'm leaning away from rectal, is there anything good enough for accuracy?

We have the exergen temporal, and I've found it to be very accurate (within .2 of rectal) when used correctly. We follow up with rectal if it is high, but it's perfect for a quick reading.

We use a temporal lobe thermometer now for DS, he's 2. It takes only seconds and he thinks its a game. I picked it up at Target for like $50, but it's worth the money IMO.

I use this one too. So much easier.
