I was just asked to interview for a short term leave replacement. Any tips for me?

When I interviewed last year for my leave replacement position, the interview was very similar to a regular interview.

I interviewed beginning of the month for a leave replacement and it was just like a regular interview for a tenure track position.

I am an administrator. Depending on how your district handles these positions, you will meet with either a Director or Principal, followed by the Assistant Superintendent if they want you to take the position. Usually, if you were asked, it means that you have worked there already and they feel you are a good candidate for the position. My advise is, be energetic and enthusiastic. Speak about your prior experiences working with children and parents (give specifics), as well as your willingness to extend yourself to professional development. Good luck!!
