ivf costs? (especially w/out insurance)
So, its looking like I may need to move to IVF but I don't have coverage for it so its going to be out of pocket. I do have iui coverage, so I am wondering if parts of the IVF process is still covered like the sonos, and blood work but not the actual IVF procedure. Is anyone in this situation? Also if you don't mind sharing how much does IVF cost without any insurance coverage?

will your meds be covered? if so, that will significantly lower the cost. you will have to check with your insurance company to see if they will cover your office visits but its very likely that they wont. my insurance would cover my meds but NOT for ivf. it was almost $10k without any meds, freezing of embryos, ICSI or anything like that. depending on how you respond to meds, they can run you anywhere from $2k-$5k+. freezing can be another $1200-1500 and ICSI around the same.

My meds are mostly covered, thankfully. The price at my doctor's office for IVF, without storage, ICSI, PGD or anything like that is $9750, plus $500 for anesthesia. They have a plan that is 4 for $25,000, and DH and I are choosing to do that, as with my issues it is likely that we will need more than one round. All office visits are included in that price.

Unfortunately my meds aren't covered, even for iui I have to pay for them. I am wondering if they can bill insurance for the monitoring just like an iui and than I can pay for the rest. Insurance companies make me sick, we already pay 24k a year for insurance, and they barely cover anything.

Re: ivf costs? (especially w/out insurance)
I'd like to know this info as well. I'm being treated in NYC and they do not have any payment plans or multiple-cycle packages.
IVF:10,565 Meds: $2,000-$6,000 Anesthesia: $900-$1400 ICSI:$2,500 Embryo Freezing for 1st year: $1500
Hope this helps!
