Finally made it to 1,000!!!!

9 month olds...how much formula and food?
Just want to check in and see if I could possibly start decreasing bottles. Kenzie currently gets 4 6 ounce bottles (24 ounces) and 3 meals plus snacks. Today we skipped a bottle due to napping and she did just fine. Also, has anyone tried giving DC sippy cups yet? TIA

DD will be 9 months tomorrow
She eats 3 meals (mostly table food)
She gets 2 8oz bottles a day (1 in the afternoon and one before bed)
She gets some snacks with her meals
I offer a sippy of water with a splash of juice all day long. She takes a sip here and there. If I put it in a bottle she drinks a ton more but I'm trying to get her used to the sippy even though she doesn't seem to like it at all

DD just turned 10months this week
she still gets 4- 8oz bottles and 3 meals a day. I would love to drop a bottle but she seems like she needs it, i mean she drinks all 8 oz of every bottle... lol

Our dd's have the same exact names, first n middle expect mine is mckenzie rae... And my dd bday is 11/4/10, lol just wanted to share i thought that was funny! :)

DS
gets 3 meals
breakfast 8oz food and 5 tb cereal, 3 oz bottle
lunch 5 oz of food and sippy cup of water
snack yogurt 3 oz bottle
dinner 8 oz food 5 tb cereal & 3 oz bottle
night bottle 6oz
DS takes in 15 oz of formula and 21oz of food. He is a BIG guy. I was told much less formula and more food

At that age DD had dropped from 4 to 3 bottles. 8oz. 3X a day
3 meals as well.

question to those that are giving there dc 3 meals a day, what are you giving them to eat??
DD is 10 months and still gets four 8oz bottles and 3 meals however she has no teeth so her 3 meals are. Breakfest- yogurt or oatmeal, Lunch- gerber stage 2 fruit or veggie, dinner- gerber stage 3 meat or pastina. Is there something more i can be giving her even though she dosnt have any teeth?

These are some examples for you. And btw, they say babies do not need teeth to chew food. They gum it lol
breakfast is pancakes, french toast, yogurt, fruit
lunch is pastina, meatballs, raviolis, veggies, chicken, I always give her atleast 1 veggie with lunch usually it is not a puree but small pieces.
dinner is whatever we eat usually, last night I made ground turkey with brown rice and mixed veggies with cream of chicken soup and she loved it.

My DS is 9mo today. He is BF 3x, gets 1 8oz bottle of formula and eats 3 meals each day. This is his approximate schedule.
6am - BF
7am - Oatmeal and Fruit
9am - BF
12pm - Yogurt and Fruit
3pm - 8oz Formula Bottle
5pm - Meat and Veggies
7pm - BF
