How long are your kids on the bus and how far do you live from the school?

1/2 mile (I may need to convince the school that the bus stop is .51 miles, so we still qualify for busing next year....). DC are probably on the bus for 5 minutes, since we're the 1st stop at the end of the day, and the last stop in the morning.

When I went to school, we were about 16 miles from school, and the bus ride was over 30 minutes. I think it was more like 45.

A mile from the school - the kids are on the bus about 5 mins in the morning (last ones picked up) and then about 40 mins in the afternoon (last ones off the bus)

3 miles. It takes forever. Yesterday was almost an hour.

Not sure about the afternoon as my ds goes to after-care but in the morning it is probably about 20 mins. (they are picked up 20 minutes BEFORE school starts and only one bus stop after them so maybe 10 minutes on the bus then).

This is such a huge issue for me. We having bussing for all kids, no walkers. DD would be a walker(my house is the cutoff) if we did not have bussing for all. Kids that get picked up by parents get dismissed at 3:10 and the rest are getting on the bus(which obviously takes a few minutes) The way the bus route is, she is the very last stop in the afternoon. She gets off the bus between 3:55 and 4pm It is a loooong ride. In the morning, she is on the bus for about 2-3 minutes

My kid is on the bus on the way home FOREVER.. school lets out at 3:10... I'm assuming they are on and off by 3:15 the latest.. she doesn't pull in by me until #:40-3:45 and she isn't even the last stop!

We live maybe 2 1/2 miles away.

I think in the morning, he is picked up in the middle of the route, and should be at school within 20 minutes.

The last 2 afternoons, he's been on the bus 45 minutes!! Not sure what is going on. Seriously, the whole route is within a mile-1.5 miles, and there are less than 10 stops. 45 minutes seems like there is something wrong. Last year it was never more than 20 minutes.

I think we're like 0.5 mile. In the morning it's probably 10 minutes and then around 15 minutes after school.

We're probably 3-4 miles. DS gets picked up at 7:25 and school starts at 8:00. They get out at 2:45 and he's dropped off at 3:25.

we live 1 mile from the school They were eligible for busing until they were in 2nd grade but then became walkers... although *I* walk them or drive them. When they took the bus it was probably about 15 minutes because of all the stops.

You have to be over a mile to continue bus transport after 2nd grade.
