What are considered "bland" foods?
Since I have pretty bad MS and seem to vomit everything I eat I want to make sure Im eating bland things so when I go running to the bathroom what comes out is not too bad (sorry for the nasty description)...what would you consider bland foods?

Eat lots of pasta. Plain or with a little parmesan cheese. If you can handle it, maybe a little garlic and oil. No sauce.

I have terrible ms again just like with my first dc. NOTHING taste good coming back up. I am taking pepcid ac until I see my doctor about zofran which worked wonders. Pepcid really seems to be helping for now.

Re: What are considered "bland" foods?
I ate whatever I wanted when I was throwing up all the time....I figured nothing is good the 2nd time so I might as well eat something I am going to enjoy

Thats true but I guess what Im trying to say is like if I eat a hamburger and fries for instance, and then I vomit its a lot worse then eating some boiled potatos...the other day I ate a McChicken sandwhich, small fries from McDonalds and had a candy apple and OMG..when it came up it was not a pretty sight and hurt like hell. So I figured if I eat more softer foods it wont hurt so much when it comes up.

After getting really sick a few years back for months, I became a vomit expert
I used to take the progresso chicken soup and blend it in the blender. That way it was totally smooth but I still got the benefit of the protein and veggies. It came up really easy. I also ate tons of mashed potatoes and drank Ensure.
I hope it goes away really soon! From what I read about MS, I'd stay away from meat.

Re: What are considered "bland" foods?
definitely chicken soup, matzoh ball soup, etc that are brothy. Nothing with cream
I avoid meat and raw veggies...does not feel good coming up and not appetizing to me.
trying cooking some orzo in chicken broth until very soft.

Maybe try eating smaller meals. Mc Ds and a candy apple seems like a lot of food. Since being PG I cant eat as much in one sitting as I used to. I think if you eat less at once you may be better.
