4 yr old keeps having accidents
Just got a call that my 4 yr had an accident at school. It has been happening alot lately. They were on the playground, it is like he waits to teh last minute. Any ideas on how to handle it? Thanks

Re: 4 yr old keeps having accidents
Does the school make the kids go to the bathroom at scheduled times? I know in my 4 year old's daycare, before going outside and before nap they have all the kids try to go to the bathroom. Is he having accidents at night, or urinating more frequently than before? It sounds like he is just waiting too long and then can't hold it- reminders would probably help.

at home i wouldnt ask...i would say ok its time to go potty and have him sit (stand) and try and go. DD tells me no sometimes, but i make her try before we go out and she usually does go.
