Re: Train tables
I got the melissa and doug one and I really like it b/c once DS gets a little older he can make/build the tracks as he pleases, plus esthetically I like it b/c it's white since its in my sunroom.
However, I will say a friend of mine got the imaginarium one (Toys r us exclusive) and its really cool, DS loved playing with it, it makes sounds when the trains pass the stations and go over the mountain /boulder part. I think the tracks are stationary (you can't move them/re-do them) I might be wrong.

Re: Train tables
Love the Imaginarium one from TRU!! Has huge drawers...like the natural wood color & it came with TONS of track & trains too!
It is moveable......you are only piecing it together. But we used our own track & trains because we had metal Thomas trains & track from my nephew.
