Enfamil AR for spit up?

We were using similar sensitive for spit up but ds is still spitting up all the time. I'm going to give this a try. Did you find that your LO spit up improved or stayed the same on this?

I used for DS and it worked great. It was a little think for DS so I actually cut it - half regular half AR.

Good Luck!

Both of my DCs used the AR and it was great (they both have severe reflux)...until the lactose issues popped up, then we had to use thickener in Gentlease/soy.

It improved for sure- but didn't go away completely.
She still spit up- but it was a LOT less and it wasn't the "volcano vomit" kind of spit up- where it would just POUR from her mouth!

A little... But DS was still spitting up so now it's that + rice cereal to thicken. It's working --- he gained 14 oz in 1 week! (after still being at his birth weight of 8 lbs for 4 weeks)

This did not really help our DD. We used to used gentlease and add rice cereal.

I think it helped but it made by son constipated. We do half formula and half breastmilk.

Ugh, mine too! Poor thing... Now in his bedtime bottle I add 1 oz of prune juice. Works like a charm so far!

It made my son SOOO constipated. I have a preemie and we go to preemie clinic for follow up. I was told by them that they see a lot of children become more constipated once they start the AR. I was hoping that wasn't going to happen to us but it did. His constipation was the worst on the AR. We had to come off of it. Good luck!

It worked but constipated DD soooooo bad!

DD still spit up on the AR, but it was not as bad as the other formulas we tried. I took her to two GI dr's and both said she was a "happy spitter" and in time her body would adjust. They say usually around 8-10 months and at 9 months she just woke up one morning and stopped spitting up.
