Please describe what your round ligament pain felt like (if you had it)

For the past 2-3 days I've been having pains all the way down low (like where you would normally get period cramps). It feels like a pulling or pinching feeling. I called my OB on Thurs and described what it felt like and he said it was round ligament pain. He said as long as the pain doesn't get a lot worse and as long as there's no bleeding/spotting, to just try to take it easy and increase fluids. I've been doing that. Today, the pain isn't worse, but I feel like its more constant. When I woke up the pain was exclusively on the right side. Now it seems to have moved to the middle and slowly moving to the left side. I've been relaxing most of the day in a recliner and when I change positions, it eases/stops the pain for a bit, but it just comes back within a few minutes. I'm trying not to be paranoid but can use some input and reassurance. Does this sound like RLP or should I call the MD again? I'm 12w 5d.

i had this. it wasn;t constant pain, but def shook me up a little when it first started. my dr said the same thing. as long as it wasn't very sharp, extremely painful, or accompanied by any spotting- totally normal. i didnt have it for too long, maybe a few days or a week, probably around the same time as you- 12-13 weeks i think.

I'm 13 weeks and have been having a constistent dull low pain. Im thinking it's normal growing pains.
