There is a lot of truth behind this. It's almost as if some parents try to bully you into giving their kids higher grades. HELLO??? what happened to making your kids bust their behinds to earn those higher grades? Like we had to when we were in school. I could go on and on. I'm done for now.

It is VERY true!!
It permeates every aspect... even in high school... coaches get it too... oh, and ask colleges and universities about the "helicopter parents"... they call professors!!! Professors??? OMG, I was afraid to look at some of my professors!!!
I've even heard of parents even calling companies that their "20 something year olds" have interviewed. The parents want to ask why their "talented and brilliant child" didn't get the job"
