SAHM and Mothers Helper

Does anyone who is a SAHM have a mothers helper? I have 3 1/2 y/o twins and a 25 m/o. I am just so overwhelmed all the time. The twins g to nursery school 2 half days a week, but I stilll have my third child. Being honest when we are home, I just don't like it. The kids trash the house, fight with each other and are always next to me. I spend the day cleaning, refereeing and yelling.
I keep thinking about getting a mothers helper, but then think I'm such a loser that I just can't do it on my own. The days we get out are better, but doing anything is a struggle.
I just don't want to wake up wishing it was bedtime all the time. I want to love this part of their lives.
Where does one find a mothers helper anyway?

Re: SAHM and Mothers Helper

I have one.

DD is 2.5 and DS is 14 months. DD is in school 2 days a week.

I had someone come to help

Tues &Thurs - 2:30-7:30, so I don't have to bring DS when I pick DD up at school, and to have an extra pair of hands to help me get through dinner and bedtime. This was ESPECIALLY helpful when DS was a newborn/young infant.

Then on Fridays, she would work 9:30-7:30, again, someone as an extra pair of hands, and Friday's would be a DD and mommy day.

Now that DS is older. I no longer have her come on Friday's as I take both kids to a music class in the morning and by the time we get home it's lunchtime and naptime.

I still have her Tues & Thurs. I have her come earlier on Tuesdays now, just so I have some "me" time as well as time to do house stuff/laundry, or grocery shopping.

I actually found her through word of mouth (she's the mother of one of my DD's teachers).

While I don't have twin toddlers and another toddler, my alone days with the kids are definately overwhelming especially if my DD is in a "mood"
