WWYD??
I messed up. Tix from NYC to Miami last week were $104 round trip. Signed on today to puchase ticket for Dec 10 (day is non negotiable) and the price is now $246 r/t. Would you purchase now or hold off? Im kicking myself here.

Also - go look for tickets on another computer with a clear browser history. The cheapest night to buy tickets is Tuesday night to Wednesday night at 11:59 pm - call up the airline.

Are you sure the price you saw was for RT? I have never seen prices for Ny to Miami that low. It's usually at least $200 to go to Florida.
If you want to try, farecompare.com gives you prices depending on the day you select, AND it also gives you a recommendation as to whether the fair will go up or down...

i second kayak.com and booking on a tuesday usually being cheapest. i would act as if you are going to book this flight and get to the "choose a seat" page and see how many seats are open on the flight. if its close to booked i would just book now. if there are a lot of open seats i would wait a week or two and keep checking back
