Found Lost Dog
DH found a lost female chihuahua tonight in Little Neck 248th St and Thornhill Ave.She is a senior dog and has a tumor on the left side of her belly.
She is very sweet. He found her around 7:30 PM. We aren't allowed to have dogs in our apartment so my I laws are keeping her overnight.
They can't keep her past tomorrow. I am not sure who to contact tomorrow? N Shore? The closest shelter?
Also, please FM me if you hear anything about a lost dog matching her description. Will try to post a pic later.

I would honestly try calling a No Kill Shelter. Unfortunatelly if this dog has a tumor and makes it into a high-kill shelter, she might not be there for very long 
I would also take a good picture and start posting signs all over the place!

I would look on Craigslist to see if anyone has a post about a lost dog. And I would also put an ad on there saying you found one.
 Very nice that your DH picked him up!
