UPDATE---LOST DOG!!! MY BABY IS HOME!!!
UPDATE:
I found him!!!!!! He is finally home!!!!!!! I did a reverse address on her cell....it just gave me her full name....then I looked her up in the yellow pages which took me to peoplesmart.com where I paid $30 to get a background check on her name and it provided me with the address. She lives in Rockville Center on the 6th floor!!!!! She just wanted to keep him. So I went to the Lynbrook police with all the info and my story with the conclusion that I knew she had him.....they went to her house and got him within minutes!!!!! I am beyong happy!!!!! Thank you all so very much...all your suggestions, prayers and support really means a lot to me!!!!
I was just too busy today making calls that I didn't have time to log on.

I am not an average poster but wanted to get this out to as many people as possible. Please forward this link and help me find my baby. Lost my white male pomeranian on 9/15 around 1 pm in Lynbrook NY (Lawrence Ave/Ocean Ave). Please email me at [email protected] or call 917-455-1506 if you have seen him. His name is Sable and he is 4 years old. Please please forward this. He could be anywhere from Lynbrook to Baldwin as an anonymous caller stated she found him and took him to her home in Baldwin where he also escaped!
He was a gift from my late grandmother and is very very loved!!! I am beyond heartbroken...please please help me find him by keep your eyes open!

Did you call the local shelters & police precinct? Also hang posters. My dog went missing last month and we hung posters and someone driving by was able to help us and bring him home

I have!!! I have called all shelters and precincts to all surrounding towns too! I just got a tip saying someone saw him being picked up 2 blocks from here :(

If he was picked up then hopefully someone is just trying to find his family..My dog was also picked up 2 blocks away.. the woman who picked him up didn't take him to the shelter right away.. so def. keep hanging posters and maybe put something on craigslist... and keep checking with the shelters & even some vets in the area.
Was he microchipped at all? If so call them and report him missing so that if he is taken to a shelter and scanned you will be notified. I feel so bad for you, I know how it feels.. it is horrible. I will tell everyone I know in the area to keep an eye out.

I'm so sorry!!! My DH drives through Lynbrook, Lawrence, Hewlett, etc to get to work every day. I called him to tell him to keep his eye out on the drive home. I you find your furbaby real soon!

OMG!!!!!! Wait??? Someone found him and he escaped from there??? Why wouldnt she tell you who she was?? Thats terrible!! Where did she pick him up? And where is she so at least you have some idea where to look.. OMG!!! I live in lynbrook fm me if I can do anything to help you..

UPDATE: I LOCATED THE VET WHERE THIS WOMEN TOOK SABLE IT IS
250 HEMPSTEAD AVE, MALVERNE
THE VET CALLED THE LADY TODAY BUT YET THERE IS NO RESPONSE. I THINK THE LADY JUST LIED AND HAS HIM...I HOPE THE VET CAN GET MORE INFO FROM HER AND IF SHE DOESN'T COOPERATE HOPEFULLY I CAN GET THE # FROM THE VET AND TAKE IT TO THE POLICE.
DO YOU THINK THE POLICE WILL HELP ME LOCATE AN ADDRESS??

This is what I am getting from your post.
You lost your dog on Ocean ave in front of malverne HS
A lady found him and brought him to a Vet on hempstead ave
The vet said the lady lives in baldwin but she never left her # for anyone to call her if the owner is found???
W T FFFFFFF is going on here????

How did you find out she took him to that vet? And why is she doing this? Does she want a reward from you? I am confused!!!
The vet needs to reverse directory search her number, if she left a valid one. www.whitepages.com, you can do a reverse phone number search to come up with an address if it's a landline phone
I would absolutely get the police involved, and beg this vet to reverse directory her number to see if he can get an address. Do not let this woman get away with theft!!!!!
