3rd pregnancy and I am huge at 6 weeks
There is no way I can hide this from anyone. If I did they would most definitely think I had an eating problem.
It's awkward too, I don't want people to think I'm huge. I really have no problem telling people, so should I just tell them as I see them so they don't talk behind my back?
I can only wear my vests with so many things.
ETA: Technically it's my 4th pregnancy since I had a loss. My body is shot

Hmm. Do you want to tell people? I mean, if you're comfortable with it I don't see a problem but otherwise I'd just wear blousy shirts for another couple of weeks

I don't mind telling people, so many people know already, with every day that passes I feel more comfortable telling. We have a party this weekend with DH's friends and I know there is no way I can pass off not being pregnant. I wore a sweater yesterday that I thought hid it pretty well and so many people said something.

Re: 3rd pregnancy and I am huge at 6 weeks
I had this same issue - the biggest stressor for me in the first 9w was what the hell can I wear to hide this??
I wound up slowly telling people about 7w but was nervous - didn't want to really disclose to the world until I saw the OB. Due to the holidays last month I didn't get in until 9w
Do what you're comfortable with - I know how frustrating it is to look obviously pregnant (and for me - very sick) and still trying to hide it.

I go to see the heartbeat (hopefully) on Monday so I will feel better after that. I think if I can try to hide it until then I will feel better.
ETA: I know what you mean about being sick, I was hunched over the counter at Kohls the other day and the woman thought I was nuts. Little did she know I was trying not to lose my lunch.

Okay the way I see it is this: since you are showing already, people already know, and nothing you say is going to change what happens, right? So I would not really come out and say anything, like make any big announcements... but I wouldn't try to hide it either. Rock that bump

That's what I'm going to have to do I think. Even DS #1 was like "Mommy, your belly is HUGGGGEEEE!"

Re: 3rd pregnancy and I am huge at 6 weeks
I am trying to hold out until thanksgiving day, I'll be 12 weeks by than but I am starting to show as well. Its crazy, with dd I was over 15 weeks before there was even a bump. My jeans are so tight, and my fall coat is barely zipping. I totally can relate.
I had a mc in May so I want to hold out for those reason but if you feel comfortable telling everyone after you hear the hb than you should. With dd we told everyone at 5 weeks we were just way to excited to hold back.

Re: 3rd pregnancy and I am huge at 6 weeks
This is only my second pregnancy and by 6 weeks I definitely had a bump. By 8 weeks I could only wear maternity pants. I "hid" it as best as I could wearing open sweaters (with no buttons in front) and a black shirt under or other dark shirt.

Re: 3rd pregnancy and I am huge at 6 weeks
This is my third too and people could tell at 8 wks. I just decided to tell.
Crazy thing is that it's not baby belly at all - it's just crazy bloat at this stage. Your uterus is still the size of a small piece of fruit and the baby is a grain of rice or whatever! It's all thanks to progesterone...

Re: 3rd pregnancy and I am huge at 6 weeks
This is my second and I'm 8 weeks and I am getting comments from family asking me if it's twins (they run rampant on both sides of my family - and they don't skip generations either ) I've been in maternity clothes since 6.5 weeks... I really had no choice. Plus I had to tell my boss since she was staring at my stomach.
We go on Friday for our first sono (I'll be 8wk4d by then), but I'm more concerned about how many there are...

I would not make an official announcement. Just no need to hide or deny it at this point.
Just make it SUPER PUBLIC when you hit your comfort level mark.

Whatever you feel comfortable with I am also on #3--I felt huge in the beginning, I think people just assumed I was eating too much ice cream until we told.

Re: 3rd pregnancy and I am huge at 6 weeks
I looked 5 months pregnant for so long, when I wasn't pregnant! So much so, for so long, that when I actually did get pregnant, no one asked or even thought because I had been that way for so long. We didn't tell anyone until 16 weeks, but by then, it was totally obvious!
