South Beach diet
South Beach Diet...anyone doing it or done it in the past?
I'm trying to plan out meals to start phase 1 next week, just wondering if you had any tips or ideas on meals/snacks, TIA!

do you have the book? i like the new one south beach super charged.
when i did phase 1 i followed pretty much the meal plans in that book:
breakfast: egg whites and v8
snack: 15 almonds
lunch: 3 oz. low sodium chicken, 3 oz. tomatoes, 3 celery stalks, 1/2 med. cucumber, 2oz. hummus, string cheese
snack: greek yogurt or cottage cheese
dinner: lean protein and at least 2 servings of veggies
some dinner ideas: balsamic chicken turkey burger with low fat cheese turkey chili baked fish with lemon juice
veggies: mashed red beans pureed cauliflower roasted zucchini steamed spinach
