Haven't posted in a while, could use some advice/ hugs

Haven't really posted on hear much, DH and i have been getting tested to see why we haven't been able to get prego. I had the HSG sono done turns out I have scar tissue on one of my fallopean tubes, DH's sperm came back low he got retested and he is ok, they said his sperm quality isnt the best but not a problem. The doctor basically said its me that is the problem, and now i have to see an infertility specialist for me. Really horrible day, I just want this to be over, and no more specialist and doctors. Does anyone else have the same issue at all? Thoughts would be great here. We also finally told our immediate family whats been going on it has been extremely hard and diffucult :(

No Mel I can't say I do have it, but you've taken the important first step to getting this resolved. All you can do now is be a good patient and just do what they suggest, and it Will work. Modern Medicine says so!

I had some scar tissue over my rt. tube and my abdomen. I had a Lap in July and had it removed. I have a bazillion other issues as well but this one was pretty easy to solve.

just wanted to say the diagnosis is hard but seeing the specilaist will point yoyu in the right direction

When we first had to go to a specialist i had such a hard time with it that i developed palpitations. I would have an upset stomach each time before i left the house. but truly the people who work at these type of offices really understand what your going through, the stress and the pressure and the feelings! I have been with my dr. since july and i really have to try to remain optimistic :) 2 failed iui's and were going to try for another one next month.. Good luck take a deep breath and be patient :)

I had laproscopy 2 weeks ago and my doctor was able to fix my right tube, which was kinked with scar tissue.

So there's hope

I had a rough few weeks after i found out all the things wrong... but i went there to find out... i just didnt know id find out so much all at once... overwhelming is an understatement...

its better to know than to wonder what is going on... at least you can take steps to fix it...
