treadmill walkers/runners....or any fitness experts
I'm not ready to run yet, so just walking. Wanted to get input on a system I tend to do. What do you think?
start at incline 1, and a speed of 3.
Every 30 seconds, I boost up the incline and the speed up a level.
I do this until I am walking at a 6 incline and a 4 speed.
Then I bring down the speed and the incline, every 30 seconds.
any thoughts? improvements?
I'm looking to increase agility before starting to run.

That sounds good.
You can also try speedwalking intervals.... like alternate a few minutes of hard effort with a minute or two or slower walking, over & over the entire time. Intervals are good for improving your endurance & fitness.

I agree with interval training. It also boosts your metabolism & helps to burn fat.
