I don't care what kind of card I get or if I get one at all   I don't send out cards but i plan on staring when we have a kid.

OMG!!! People really worry about the quality of the cards. They should be more than happy somebody is thinking of them to even send them a darn card....ugh. I like to send out nice cards but I always feel honored to get a card from someone no matter the quality.

This is BY FAR the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. No, I do not care what kind of card I get for Christmas. It is just nice to be on someone's list.
I hope your relative gets some perspective FAST and realizes that there are SO MANY other things to be concerned about.
Sounds like she's a piece of work.

Wow.. what a sad world we live in if people actually get OFFENDED at getting a xmas card (of any quality).
Now.. talk to me about getting a randomly selected unrelated utterly BLANK in the inside card for a birthday and I'll share a giggle but even then, since a check was included, I dont care if its wrapped in a sticky note! They obviously thought enough to put a stamp on it.
If I knew this relative with the nose so far up the air she can't sell the poop she's standing in, I'd be sure to send her a post card next year saying "Merrry Xmas" instead of a card at all! But im odd like that. I'd be sure it was one of those cheap by it on the side walk types. I'd use a crayon and not sign in (like Love so-and-so) just Merry xmas. Then say "I was saving for a better xmas present for my husband" lol
Sorry but that's crazy!

I chose other because I don't really keep track of who sends a card one year vs the next and I'm definitely not looking at the quality. That's bizarre

Haha I don't care but I definitely "notice" when one is especially cheapo, lol. I wonder if they even looked at them at all or just put them in their basket and moved on.

I don't hang up the glitter cards. Im sorry but as soon as I see that they have glitter, I see who they are from and then throw them away. That glitter can last forever.

I would never get annoyed about receiving any card. This is the only time of year I actually look forward to the mail being delivered every day. I do admit though that I do notice the nicer cards- professional pics, paper quality, etc... It doesn't make me think more or less of the sender, that's just something I notice.

I hate when you get an invite to a shower and it's filled with little cut-outs and glitter! It goes all over the place!

Nope it wouldn't even cross my mind. I don't care what the card looks like or even if someone sends me one at all. I'm terrible & don't even bother sending them out-- I only receive from like 5 people anyway, probably people cut me from their lists because I never send any out Maybe I'll do some this week if I get around to it but probably not
