Christmas Dinner
Just wondering what you are having for Christmas Dinner. My family is having Lamb which doesn't seem like a popular choice to me. It's not my cup of tea, so I am having turkey or chicken....

Re: Christmas Dinner
We're having duck and ham (maybe that sounds like an unusual combo, but I wanted some ham for the non-duck eaters lol).

Re: Christmas Dinner
My MIL will have Glazed ham and Stuffed shells for supper with sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and veggies. We will eat there at noon.
My Sister will be making a Prime Rib Roast, Green bean casserole, oven broiled potatoes, corn, fresh baked bread and a salad. We will snack there at 3.
I will be making eggs, bacon, sausage and French Toast to eat when we get home and after we play with the kids. We will eat around 8.

Re: Christmas Dinner
I'm making Chicken Parm & Stuffed Rigatoni...and some sides.
Usually I do a pork roast, but no one ever eats it...soooo I'm not this year. It's only about 6 of us anyway.

Re: Christmas Dinner
We have a large amount of people at Christmas (upwards of 40) so its a buffet style with lots of choices, but the main course is a ham.

Re: Christmas Dinner
Christmas eve is filet mignon, sweet potato casserole and asparagus. Appetizers are brie cheese and rasberry jam in filo pasty shells and bacon wrapped scallops.
Christmas day dinner is ham, lasagna (for my vegetarian brother), roasted potatos and candied carrots. appetizers are a spinach walnut pesto and fontina chese stromboli-always a hit!!
deserts are linzer tart bars, pumpkin chocolate chp cookies and coconut snowballs.
How did I get suckered into doing both days?? I have no clue. Id better start now!

Re: Christmas Dinner
I am making the pioneer's woman beef tenderloin and a spiral ham. I have never cooked a tenderloin but since she calls for butter in the recipe I'm sure it will be good.
