progesterone question?

So after having to wait 3 months after my ectopic, switching RE's then waiting for IVF approval I was finally supposed to start provera yesterday to start my period, then lupron and begin the IVF process.

I don't ovulate on my own at all and never get a period without being on meds but before going on provera they had me go in for bloodwork yesterday. Apparently my progesterone is high (10) so i can not take provera. They said to wait another 2 weeks and they will do the bloodwork again. so more waiting for me

What does it mean to have high progesterone?

You may have ovulated. Did they do a sono to check for a corpus luteum? They want to wait 2 weeks to see if AF comes on its own probably. It happened to me and it was annoying. I never ovulate and right when I was ready to start treatments again, I o'ed the day before
