The Host
I borrowed The Host (Stephenie Meyer) from live-brary because they are coming out with a movie next year and wanted to be prepared. I am about 10 pages in and I want to throw my Nook across the room! I just can't get into it...AT ALL!
Does it get better? Did anyone else have this problem?
I hate starting a book and not finishing it, unless I get a few "It will get better" posts I may have to junk the book.

i had no problem getting into it... but it absolutely gets better... in fact, imo, it gets awesome!!

ITA. I was wary to read the book PERIOD. But I was intrigued once i started reading. But like Ang said, it takes a crazy turn and it's AWESOME! I really loved that book- it rivaled Twilight for me!

LOVED THE BOOK! I just read it for the 2nd this Fall. Keep going, it totally worth it. BTW, I am shocked @ the casting, I think they got it completely wrong. In my head, Melanie looks nothing like Saoirse

As for the casting,the guy who played Henry in Red Riding Hood is in it...and I am currently crushing on him!
