Bally Members
I just got my new LA Fitness id today - I was at Lake Grove Ballys and the front desk person said that they are keeping it open - which i find hard to believe!
I have a premier membership that is 10 years old (so I pay nothing compared to LA Fitness normal prices) - does anyone know if LA FItness is going to be changing that?

I was told that you were only able to use Bally/LA Fitness locations once the new year hit. If you wanted a regular LA fitness membership you have to upgrade.
We joined copaigue right before they switched and then cancelled because it seemed to be a big disaster.

it actually went very smoothly - I guess it depends on what type of ballys membership you have; but I used LA fitness twice already with no problems, no new contract or additional charges (I pay my ballys yearly and just paid it last week)

I cant use LA fitness because my bally's is staying ballys. Too bad because I was hoping to give LA fitness a shot.

Same here, my contract was not sold, BUT the only Bally's near me has become LA Fitness.

I was a member of ballys lake grove too but I just cancelled my membership. They also told me they are staying open but it does seem strange with la fitness right down the street.
