Anyone have a recipe for Shepards pie?
I have really been wanting to make a shepards pie lately, but don't know how! Anyone have any good recipes?

This is a great recipe. I've used this as my base recipe, but have tweaked it a bit over the years to fit my tastes.

this is a great recipe..but for a quickie I brown the beef, add worschiere and broth. I use a frozen bag of peas and carrots and some instant mashed potatoes. add some paprika on top and bake. So easy!

OMG! How funny, I was just looking up recipes for Shepherd's Pie! Seems like a good dinner for a cold night like tonight.
I think I am going to go with Rachael Ray's 30 Minute Shepherd's Pie .

Re: Anyone have a recipe for Shepards pie?
Shepherd's Pie
Instead of mashing the carrots, I added a bag of frozen peas and carrots (you can do peas and corn if you want). I also added some worchester sauce (to taste) and a packet of brown gravy mix and some water to make a bit of a sauce. It thickens as you cook it and it cooks down but it really adds something to the shep pie. I also probably added a little more ketchup. I know it sounds weird but it def makes a difference in the taste. It was seriously really yummy. And the potatoes were perfect just as they said to make them...just add some salt and pepper to taste. I also sprinkled some salt, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika on top.

I use this recipe and also add gravy mix and frozen veggies instead of mashed carrots. Really yummy and freezes well too!
