Has anybody here worried about long bus ride?

Hi

DS is only 31 monthes and Servisir arrange an long route which will take 1.5 hrs ride to school(there are more than one school for all kids). Coming back is straight ride since DS has different hours then other kids. Has anybody had the same experience? Should I talk to bus company? What's the longest bus ride is allowed??

Thanks for any advice

^_^

That is LONG...I would call the school and bus company and demand a change.

Re: Has anybody here worried about long bus ride?

the one hour maximum only applies to distance withOUT traffic.

but yes i would be very upset. my understanding is that they can only do 1 trip to 1 school at a time...

edit:

i saw your DC is almost 3... my DS uses service air and i was told 1 school per trip

They told me 1.5 hr is max and I will try to talk to the supervisor about the one school per trip as well (DS is not going the same school as the rest kids). What if they said it's OK again? It's getting complicated and I'm really worried about the long ride. I will drive him if it's neccesary but I do think bus ride is part of schooling, too.(DS used to be difficulty transitioning)

Thanks for any updating
