Need OBGYN recommends for North Shore Manhasset
Hi, I'm 8 wks pregnant and looking for any OBGYN recommendations for North Shore Manhasset hospital. I've read through a lot of posts but it seems they are all dated from 2006. Was wondering if anyone have current info for doctors and about the Manhasset hospital. It seems that is the choice for Long Island. Thanks in advance for your help!

I am using Dr. Marti Gilbert. She has two practices she is associated with. She has one in Great Neck and one in Mineola. She just started at the one in Mineola where I go. She is great! I really like her a lot and I will be delivering at North Shore Manhasset in May. FM me if you would like her number!

I go to Dr. Alkasab and love her, who practices with Dr. Cho, Klein, Maloney & Nimiroff. I highly recommend her and all the other Doctors.

I just saw Dr. Klein last week (my first appt with them) he is going to be my "main" dr, but going to see dr. Alkasab in 2 weeks , I hear she is great.
They were highly recommended by few friends and few ladies here on LIF.

Women's Preferred Health - Oppenheim, Morris-Rush, Prince & Marchbein. Have to say I like every one of them. They have an office in Great Neck and in Woodbury.

absolutely hands down dr. T. before seeing him, i've been to dr. burnes in garden city, great neck ob/gyn and dr. victor klien and none of them really compared to dr. trongone IMO. even the nurses at l&d have nothing but awesome things to say about him!

Yes that is true the L&D nurses speak so highly of him...he truly is a great Dr...he is just so calm with perfect bedside manners

This is the practice I go to as well. So far I've met with Oppenheim, Marchbein, & Prince - all great. Hope to have at least one appointment with Morris-Rush before my due date.

It seems overwhelmingly Dr. Trongone is everyone's favorite. Do you know if he is pro natural birth? How was post delivery care?
