What words does your big kid still mix up?
There are just a few words that Emily still mispronounces at 6.5 years old.
She still says hostable instead of hospital.
And she still says dikar instead of guitar.
And I kinda want it to stay that way for a looooong time. It's like little reminders that she will always be my baby.

Becky (almost six) says "pupcake" instead of "cupcake." DH stopped me from correcting her the other night about it... LOL

I can't think of them offhand, but there are a few. I don't want to correct him, either. They just grow up too fast

Noah (age 8) cannot say SPECIFIC. It's hilarious actually.. he knows HOW to say it but it always comes out 'SPAPIFFIC" or "PACIFIC" unless he says it really slowly and sounds out each syllable separately.

My DD who will turn 6 next week says AMILAR for ANIMAL and I dont correct as first of all I think its cute and secondly she would just insist that it is pronounced AMILAR so its futile

theres a new more..I have to think. I love it. Theres only a few but when she says one its so cute and a reminder of how much she has grown up because the words she misprounces now and far and few

My DD who will be 7 in Feb. says
unappropriate instead of inappropriate...
She likes to say big words..lol
my fondests mix up words were:
pampakes (pancakes)
rapits (rapids)... we used to tease her about this one b/c her brother would try to correct her and she would argue with him.... now when she says it correctly we say no its rapits! and she yells at us...so funny!

Ronald Dedonald's= McDonalds
This one is crazy, but she's called juice boxes "juice in the soda" for years. Now my middle daughter calls it that too.

Ds is 5 and instead of saying "it hurts" he says "it hurted"
i don't correct him because I just when he says that.
