Is this normal..vaccine related
DS got the chickenpox vaccine. 10 days later, out of nowhere, the site (thigh) has a red bump looks like a mosquito bite. Has this happened to anyone before? Or could it be a bug bite?

Yes, sounds normal. I remember the kids having bumps where their shots were given.

Re: Is this normal..vaccine related
Yup, normal. DS had a dot or two about 8-9 days after. When the Dr gave him the shot she said that a fever and small rash could show up for up to two weeks. If the rash is bothersome to get calamine lotion or other anti itch cream to put on it.
ETA: didn't read your question correctly, oops!! I'm sure a site bump is normal as well. That's where the virus first came into contact.

Re: Is this normal..vaccine related
Actually it was like two red dots then it turned into what looks like a mosquito bite. I guess it is common then

I recently had the chicken pox vaccine and that happened to me. It slowly went away.
