Im in a wedding and am 6 months PP and i still have half the weight on me from DC, is it possible to lose 30 lbs by April to make it in time for the alterations? I want this weight gone, i hate the way i look.....anyone recommend a good at home program? I don't have daycare to get away from the house unfortunately.

beginning of april? maybe half that would be a good goal...but thats averaging 2 lbs. a week.
i had a good experience following phase 1 of south beach to jump start my weight loss. it focuses on low carb, high protein

I lost 30 lbs in 2006 in 3 months. I worked out 5 days a week and did a high protein low carb diet. It's possible. Just hard work.

I think you are being overly ambitious...it is more realistic to figure 1-2 pounds of weight loss per week. Is there any way to push back the deadline for alterations? If the wedding is in 6 months (August?) why do you need to have the alterations done in April. I know many bridal shops will wait to do alterations. If you are trying to lose weight it would probably be best to do the alterations as close to the wedding as possible.
