Doggie play dates ?
Does anyone do doggie play dates ?? I've only had a few in the past few months but I'd like to do them more often.....it tires her out & she loves other dogs !
It's gonna be nice on Saturday but most of our friends with dogs live far so its not very often they get together.
I meet people on our walks but would feel weird inviting them & their dogs over....Or is that what I should be doing ?

i love doing doggie playdates! its been a while since my dogs have had one... we usually go to a dog park... You can always take your dogs to a nearby dog park!

I went to a dog park once and I won't go back. My dog kept getting pinned down by one dog and the owner never did anything about it. Made me mad! I live in Centereach though if anyone is interested in a doggie playdate. My dog LOVES other dogs. We have a big yard to play in!

Thanks for the responses !
I'm in Wantagh. We've driven to Bayshore a few times to go to that nice on-leash park there. I've heard some bad things about dog parks so I'm trying to stay away from them if I can. I've heard Coindre Hall in Huntington is on-leash & pretty nice too.
But to run around in the yard off-leash is the best exercise for her so I'd like to do that as much as possible :)
