Sleep study???
MY pediatricain has recommended my DS (almost 5) a sleep study (up several times a night and up very early in AM and hard time falling asleep). This is how he has been most of his little life. But I dont want it to be tramatic for him, can anyone recommed a place and/or tell me your experience with sleep study with a child. Thanks!!!
P.S. - The lack of sleep definitely has an effect on behavior!!

My nephew had one done at the Good Sam Pediatric outpatient facility in Babylon on DPA. They liked it there. Good luck!

Dh just had one at Premier Sleep center in Lynbrook. Not sure if they do peds.

DS had it done at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jeff. They have a sleep study center. He was 5 at the time. They recommended removing his tonsils and adenoids. We moved it to this summer because we didn't want it to intefere with school. He just started Kindergarten this year.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, i am hopefully going to call a few places tomorrow and see what is available and if it is something we should pursue.
