"Interviewing" Pediatricians
I have been hearing good things about two practices. I have decided to visit both and then decide. Not sure what I should be expecting to hear, or what to ask. Is there a checklist thread for this? Does anyone have any advice? TIA!

Re: "Interviewing" Pediatricians
I'm not my help but when I chose our first pediatrician, my biggest things were how far from home and parking (we lived in Queens). Something that I didn't even think of until after having DC was the office had a separate entrance for sick visits and well visits. So when you're bringing your newborn in for well visits, you aren't surrounded by sick kids.
Good luck

Re: "Interviewing" Pediatricians
There's a good list here LINK
I met with a ped last night. I asked which hospitals they're affiliated with, if they prefer me to call and speak to a Dr before bringing the baby in when he's sick, how long the wait usually is, if I can get a same day appt if necessary, when I should call after the baby is born (my ped isn't affiliated with the hospital I'm delivering in so they won't see the baby until after he's home from the hospital). HTH!
