One eye tearing
For the past couple of weeks, my 2.5 year old DD has been tearing from one eye on and off. She also has had a little yellow gook in the inner corner of this eye in the morning. Then at the park today it was a little chilly and windy and just this one eye started tearing. Is this cause for concern?

My youngest has the same, he's 19 months. The ped told us to keep an eye on it & if it gets worse, to bring him in. They feel right now its an "eye cold". He's been prone to them since birth. Usually when it starts in his eye, he gets a funny nose within a couple days.

DD just had this, one eye was teary, gooky and red around it. Daycare thought it was pinkeye but it wasn't, ped said it was a sinus infection and she's on antibiotics.

I'm going to just keep an eye on it since it's very sporadic. Good to hear it your stories- very helpful.
