Nanny prices??
Wondering if anyone knows any ballpark prices for a Nanny, live-out. Would be 5 days a week, 8am-6pmish.
Two children, 2.5yr old and 2 month old. No cooking required but some light housework and I'd want them to take the kids to gymboree or classes a couple times a week for socialization.
Im just trying to figure out our options. Im already worried about putting a newborn in daycare (even though it's been amazing for my DD who started at 3 months old). I dont know how I'd be able to get 2 babies ready and out the door to daycare before I need to be at work. Im thinking it would be so much easier if we just had a Nanny come here in the morning and get the kids started on their daily routines.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Nanny prices??
I would think $500-$600 per week, considering she would have the responsibility of driving your DCs.

Re: Nanny prices??
I'm not sure if $$ is a factor, but I would just add in the price of Gymboree or similar classes to the expense of a Nanny. Also, are you asking her to drive kids in YOUR car or hers? You'll need carseats, pay for gas, insurance, etc.... You might be better off doing daycare if you can afford it for 2.

Re: Nanny prices??
I have a live out nanny who works four ten hour days, 40 hr per week and I pay her $450 and I have one child. She is worth every penny my DD loves her. She made $550 for two kids at her last job one kid was in school the other was newborn.
