Princess Diana, Amelia Earhart, Mother Theresa. My son just did this in second grade. He was Theodore Geisel (Dr. Suess creator) HTH

I know someone who just did this. Her daughters were Eleanor Roosevelt and Lucille Ball. (She colored her hair with washable red marker!)

David Adler writes simple (er) biographies of famous people.

Maybe check out a list of what he's written?

Jan Brett has a biography on her website. All you need are some hedgehogs...

We did Amelia Earhardt.

She wore her brown boots, a white scarf, a peacoat & her bicycle helmet with her swimming goggles.

This is fun! My district does a wax museum of famous people every year (for 3rd graders). Here are a few links to see some of the past kids and their people:

2009

2011

2012

Robbie was Arnold Schwartznegger (he had a muscle costume under a suit and a barbell prop that his dad made.. it was funny).

Noah was George Washington. He had a powdered wig and colonial hat. We also made him a neck kerchief that he lost. He had a dollar bill and a nickel as his props.
