Really confused.. update

Hi Ladies..

So, after my last post, I went a couple of more times for BETA updates and this doesn't sound like it will be a viable pregnancy.. I have never really been through this (with getting tested and numbers), so I wanted to see if anyone could share their experience, or has any advice? ETA: I was shocked when I received the first call that my numbers were going up.. but, not enough at this point :(

I went on Sat of last week and beta was 33, went on Monday, up to 57. Then Went last Thurs. and went up to 66... Dr. says he has seen it all, but said the numbers are not going up vigorously enough for this to be considered a viable pregnancy. I am preparing myself for the worst. UGH. I just feel like this has been so tough.. this is my fourth MC and between not knowing for days and doing this blood work, I am just feeling so down and sad.

Does anyone have any experience with this, or where my numbers shoud be? Dr. is sending me again tomorrow for more blood, but I don't think this is going to turn out good at all. Chat Icon

Thanks again to all, many Chat Icon

I'm really sorry you're going through this again Chat Icon With my 2nd miscarriage my numbers increased a lot but did not double. My doctor was pretty perplexed by it, she thinks there may have been a piece of tissue hanging on that was convincing the body it was pregnant. I'm not sure how far along you should be but your numbers should be doubling.

Re: Really confused.. update

I am sorry..

This is the exact thing happened to my first pregnancy..

My numbers were almost the same as yours....they would go up but not double properly...

I was in beta hell for almost 3 weeks (beta kept raising)...they suspected ectopic pregnancy since they did not see anything in my uterus and since my beta was going up....They wanted me to take the shot...I refused...at about 7 weeks they scheduled me for a D&C...the night before it, I started to bleed very heavily and passed tissue which I think was the embryo....my beta took about 2 weeks to go down to 0...I got pregnant again 3 months later (healthy pregnancy)....

xoxo
