What is the best sneakers for walking/jogging?
I currently have the Sketcher's Shape Ups, but feel as if I am lacking support on the inside of the sneaker (and that's even with Dr. Scholls supports). Not to mention I've only been really using them for 8 weeks now, and they're already falling apart. Love to hear some suggestions.
thanks

I wouldn't jog in Sketchers. It really depends on what fits you but I would stick to Nike, Asics, New Balance, Saucony.
I personally only wear Asics.

If you are serious about starting running, its important to get fit for the right shoes.
There are so many brands, so many models within brands, everyone's feet and bodies are so different.
I personally love Mizuno Wave Rider - but I would not recommend to you because I don't know what you need.
I would go to a running store and get fit.

I'm a HUGE Nike girl.
Their sneakers hold up and offer great support.

definitely go to a running store for a true fitting. they will be able to analyze your gait and recommend the best shoe. i have flat feet, so it's important that i have a shoe with extra stability. once i started running in this type of sneaker, it completely improved my form and ultimately, my running experience!
