For Those Who Delivered at North Shore
I have a scheduled C-section on April 11th at North Shore. Is it true all of the rooms are private in the new women's hospital?

BEST experience ever!!! Totally private, gorgeous, and huge rooms, with a bathroom that makes you feel like you are in a hotel!!!! The nursery is right outside your room and it's soooo quiet and peaceful up there!!!

I actually opted to stay the extra day I was allowed bec it was great there...my DH stayed with me the whole time...the bathroom was gorgeous (lol) the food was delicious...I kept my door closed the whole time and I couldnt even tell you if there was 3 or 30 other new mommy's on the floor...it was like i had the wing to myself!
Def the best exp of my 3 births (the other two were at LIJ prior to all their renovations and had a quad room with my second!

They moved the nursery?? I know two years ago it was in another wing compared to the rooms.

Oh great!! It was on the opposite side last time..glad it will be closer to the rooms this time around.
