Re: Yogurt
I'd do it around the time you give her fruits or veggies... around 3PM
SOmetimes DS gets yogurt for breakfast with a pancake and then for lunch he'll get veggies. Other times I'll do fruit and a pancake or puffs for breakfast and do yogurt for lunch then a meat and veggie for dinner

So the yogurt is supposed to replace something else? Does she need the cereal in the morning? (oatmeal or barley) Cause then maybe I can give her yogurt instead.
Or should I do only 2tbsp of fruit in the afternoon and do 2 tbsp yogurt?

Re: Yogurt
I started DD on yogurt around 8.5 months. I give it to at lunch, usually instead of whatever protein I would have given her, but she really doesn't like any of the proteins yet.
I wouldn't replace the cereal with yogurt since they are different food groups. I would just give her some in the morning or for lunch in addition to whatever else you are giving her.

Re: Yogurt
Ds gets it after his dinner. He usually eats the whole container, but he is 11 months. We started yogurt at 9 months and I think he had half a container every other day with his lunch or his dinner.

Re: Yogurt
I give the yogurt as her lunch. Sometimes I'll give her 1oz of a fruit too if she still seems hungry. She eats the whole container.

Re: Yogurt
Thanks ladies!
I think I am going to change around are sched to as follows:
7am 2tbsp cereal 3 tbsn fruit 8am 6oz bottle
11am 4 oz veggie or fruit 12pm 6oz bottle
3pm yogurt (however much she wants) 4pm 6oz bottle
7pm chicken & veggie 8/830 pm 6 oz bottle

Re: Yogurt
I usually give my DS (6.5 mos old) yogurt or fruit at lunch time. So his schedule ends up something like this: 6am BF 5-6oz 830 2-3tbsp oatmeal and 2.5oz fruit 11am offer 6 oz but he drinks about 4 :/ 12pm lunch of yogurt or fruit 230pm 5-6 oz 530 2-3 tbsp oatmeal and 2.5 oz veggie 730 bottle (5oz) and bed
My guy doesn't love to drink his milk though so I've tried to be more aggressive with foods.
thanks for sharing your schedule, it's helpful to compare

Re: Yogurt
I give cereal with a fruit or sweet veggie for lunch as of right now. Our schedule is similar to yours. DS is 7.5 mos and 19.5 lbs.
8am - 7 oz bottle 9am - 3 tbsp oatmeal with 2 oz fruit 12 noon - 7 oz bottle 1pm - 4 oz yogurt with 2 oz fruit 4pm - 7 oz bottle 5:30pm - 2 oz meat, 2 oz veggie 8am - 7 oz bottle
I would love to drop a bottle, but I'm not quite sure how to work out that schedule yet!
