Re: Acid reflux?
my son would throw up!! after he threw up the crying and screaming that came b/c it burnt his throat was crazy!! he was so uncomfortable and we could just tell always.
after a feeding, we would keep him so still so he wouldnt throw up, but even a big burp would hurt.
i wish i had told my ped sooner - if you have any quest, just say it to your ped b/c after i did and DS went on prescription, he was a little better.. we even switched to alimentum formula.
it wasnt until he started eating cereal and fruits and veggies that it got significantly better..
good luck!!!

Re: Acid reflux?
This site explains the signs of AR and Colic
Colic Calm
DS had silent AR, which basically meant he didn't spit up. The AR just came up his esophagus and then went back down.
So pretty much hurting him both ways.
He was also very fussy and cried after each feeding. Unless he was held all he did was cry.
We also switched him to Alimentum and it helped a lot. However, DS was colic as well so the only thing that was going to work was time. He outgrew it at 6 months.

Re: Acid reflux?
she would cry hard and be almost inconsolable and when she was hungry she would take the bottle but then stop eating and push it out of her mouth repeatedly. Feedings took a ridiculoulsy long time.

Re: Acid reflux?
Spitting up, vomiting, crying or fussing during or after feeding, also head tilt, arhing back and lots of twisting during or after feeding could be one of the signs. Frequent coughing .
