Pediatric Neurologost
Hello,
Can anyone recommend a Pediatric Neurologist in Nassau County? Want to have my DD (5 years old in PreK) evaluated for ADD. Starting to get a little concerned about her behavior and want to get her evaluated.
TIA

I also recommend Dr Rosenn. He's great . . My son has been seeing him since he was 4 months old.

I am taking my kids to the see a Doctor at Cohens - At the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricians Division. It takes about 6 to 8 weeks for an appointment after you fill out this big packet.

Ds goes here too. What I appreciate is that they are not quick to prescribe medicine. There are alternatives (fbehavior charts, fish oil, etc) to try before. Our Reg ped said that neurologists will automatically rx meds and we didn't want that (we are trying to hold off until hopefully 2-3 grade). I watched the frontline on the medicated child and freaked out.
