Personal question about money

Dh & I are looking into either surrogacy or adoption. After all was said and done, how much did your adoption cost?

Re: Personal question about money

We adopted in 2005 so our numbers are no longer relevant. I just want to make sure you know about the Adoption Tax Credit and to check with your employers about any Adoption Benefits that you may be eligible for.

Good Luck!

Well, I don't know the exact amount, but it was about 25,000. This does not include our travel expenses. We traveled out of state and had to stay at a hotel for 10 nights. This also doesn't include out home studies which still continue after your child is home with you. Feel free to ask me anything. I don't mind helping!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!

The Adoption Tax Credit and employee benefits helped out alot! We did international and it was about $30,000 when all is said and done. We got alot of that back though through the credits.
