Tofu for infants
Anyone feed their babies tofu? If so, how do you prepare it.
DD is 8.5months and her tummy does not do well with meat right now, so I'm trying to find some alternative sources of protein.

Re: Tofu for infants
I would just heat it up a little and mash it. Sometimes I made it like a chicken cutlet and baked it. I strated off very simple with no extra flavorings so they;d all just get used t the texture. Then I moved onto spices and seasonings. Beans and all legumes are great too. We have a lot of food issues and all 3 of mine did well with tofu and still love it to this day.

I used to cut it into cubes and smash up puffs, and use it as a coating for the cubes so it was a finger food.

Yes, it's one of DS's favorites! I just heat it up a bit and cut into small cubes.

Re: Tofu for infants
Dumb question - how do you heat it? Everything I've read says pan fry with oil.
