tulip question
our tulips all came up this year but 95% didn't bloom. i recently pulled all the dying stalks from the ground because they looked awful. please tell me that wouldn't disrupt the bulbs for next years tulips? I left them for weeks but couldn't stand looking at them anymore (we had a TON)... there was no resistance when I pulled them out of the beds.

Re: tulip question
No, it's fine. So long as you didn't pull the bulbs out. I pull the stalks out every year and they always come back.

Re: tulip question
You should wait until the leaves are mostly yellow before you pull them off.
