Formula powder and liquid

Hello LIFamilies, I have a question... me and my almost 8 week old DD are going to Blydenburg Park tomorrow. I am using liquid formula and have been since birth. I was going to try powder for the convenience for but intend on still using liquid. Is it bad to go from liquid to powder back to liquid or is it all the same?

Re: Formula powder and liquid

We usually use powder but sometimes use ready to feed. It doesn't bother ds at all. I think it's ok to do as long as your dd doesn't seem bothered by it.

Re: Formula powder and liquid

I use ready to feed formula for my dd. We had so many samples of the powder so I asked my ped if it was ok to switch back and forth. He told me to choose one type and stick with it. When we go out I just buy the on the go 8 oz formula bottles that don't need to be kept cold. DD only drinks 6 ounces so 2 ounces are wasted but it's just easier than worrying about keeping formula cold. I bring a few empty bottles and just pour the formula in. You could buy the disposable nipples but I find bringing the bottles just as easy.
