5/6 ounces a feed at 5 weeks?
DC is 5 weeks old and can take up to 6 oz a feed! He usually takes 5. Anyone else's child taking this much that young? How many oz, if you give bottles, is your DC taking? DC has 30+. Ped isn't concerned at all but seems like a lot...

My son was eating that Nd more at that age. Its fine.

My DD is 5 weeks today and takes about 5-5.5 per feeding. She takes either 4or 5 bottles per d depening on timing. I took her to the doctor Monday and she said that was fine.

Omg I too have been so concerned. My ds is 6w tomorrow and he eats sooo much. We have a few drs at peds office. The one I have been seeing says 23 to 30oz per day. Ha!!!!!! More like 40 plus!! I was sooo scared when for two days he drank 45oz. I called and spoke to another oed that says no worries. Plus I give let's say a 4oz bottle ans he wants more an hour later sometimes!!!! And I thought oooh maybe its not really hunger but he starts the mouth sucking and screaming and drains the bottles dry. My mil works at a dif peds office where they say its fine too but I didn't want to hurt his little belly kwim?? How much total does ur dc drink in a day? Xo
