DD has been having maple syrup for a few months now. She is 14 months old.

I was told no to both (and honey) until 18 months. I waited to 18 months for maple syrup and honey.

I've used both. DS didn't really like the Agave syrup when he tried it, but he loved the maple syrup (I use the Carey's low sugar one). He is now 14 months, but we first introduced it after a year.
