Acupunture?
anyone who goes for acupuncture can you recomend the place you go and tell me how much it is roughly?
Also this may be a strange question but where do the stick the needles?

I saw 3 different acupuncturist during 2 of my IVF cycles. First I was going to Fertility Wellness in Lynbrook and saw Roberta. First visit was $100 and $50 thereafter. I then switched to a place closer to work in Williston Park (don't recall the name of the place but it may be ART Acupuncture) and saw Alexandra. She was nice and I felt a difference somewhat but she was pretty costly so I stopped it was $125 a visit and she likes to see you 2-3 times a week so that was costing me $375 a week! That's a lot so I stopped.

I go to LI Holistic in Babylon on deer park avenue. I dont know how much it cost because I only pay a copy with my insurance. I would check to see if you insurance covers it.

I go to Andrew Kaplan in Rockville Center. I really like him. You don't feel the needles at all. It's the best sleep I ever had during each session! Totally relaxing. His prices are very reasonable.
ETA: It depends where you are in your cycle as to where he sticks the needles. It's usually always on the feet and ankle area, sometimes just below knee, stomach area during ovulation, and ears.

Acupuncture My Way - he has 2 offices, in Brooklyn and Northport.
$75 per session. I go once a week.
As PP said, the location of the needles depend on where you are in your cycle. I typically get 12-14 needles per session - forehead, ears, hands, feet and 2-3 spots on the leg btwn the knee and ankle, and stomach.

I go to Andrew Kaplan in RVC as well. He has a great bed side manner as well.

Which one do you see there? I see that practice accepts my insurance.
Also would you know if they are just for fertility or if they also work with pain management? It doesn't say much on their website
